What a great spring Saturday we had. A visit to Dryburgh Abbey, a picnic near this spot blooming with white and yellow daffodils, and a pasture of newborn lambs nearby. We were basking in the warm weather as we viewed this remarkable ruin of a twelfth century abbey. The nearby cemetery is the burial place of Sir Walter Scott among other notables.
